Spacious Open Plan Living

For this project the clients were looking at extending the existing 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom residence into a large 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom family home with a spacious open plan living.

As you walk through the front you are greeted with an exposed aggregate driveway and entry pathway. The existing entry hall has two floor length windows to let in the natural light. To utilise the space in the existing hallway, we added a built-in coat cupboard.

The master bedroom and ensuite is now a space of pure luxury. The existing fire place has made a statement feature while the walk-in-robe adds an abundance of storage. The ensuite is fitted with a large vanity with two inset basins. We installed a stunning gloss tile to the walls and a dark charcoal floor tile.

The kitchen, living and dining area is now fit for a growing family. The kitchen island bench overlooks the living area and includes large white cabinetry for extra storage space and durable caesarstone benchtops. A cleverly placed skylight was installed to enhance the kitchen’s natural light.

A beautiful contrast of white walls and warm jarrah flooring flows throughout the home. The L-shaped living area is a space designed for practical living and luxury entertaining. The large windows and sliding door in the living area creates a light, airy atmosphere. The seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor living blends effortlessly, creating a perfect space for entertaining. We added an underground pool and combined composite decking with exposed aggregate concrete flooring; the perfect combination for the warm Australian summer nights.
